What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order or respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature.

When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes.

Like many websites, we use "cookies" to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the "Do we use ’cookies’?" section below for information about cookies and how we use them.

Visitors who register or participate in other site features such as marketing programs and ’members-only’ content will be given a choice whether they would like to be on our e-mail list and receive e-mail communications from us.

How do we protect visitor information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.

Do we use "cookies"

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard dritve through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.

Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term "outside parties" does not include Stretcher Bar Warehouse. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Returns or Replacements:

Canvas is a woven fabric, and there as some irregularities on occasion, which adds to the visual interest and authenticity of you canvas print. This is part of its charm. Despite that, we strive to catch and reprint any image that suffers dramatically due to an irregularity. An example would be a thread "bump" in the nose of a baby. If it occurs someplace other than a critical part of the center of interest, this is considered quite acceptable. ??If damage was caused by the shipping carrier, we must follow the procedures to recover an insurance claim. Please, note, a claim against a carrier does not mean we will replace the order immediately, it’s a process, as aggravating as it is for you as it is for us. Once we hear from them that they will honor their responsibility, we will promptly replace your order or portion of the order that was damaged. We will not replace prints that were damaged due to mishandling, which also includes prints that are damaged during or after the stretching or mounting process. For those who order the stretcher bars in kits, we will replace bars that are determined to be defective after they are returned to us at your expense. If, in communications, we determine what the issue is and can identify the problem, we normally issue replacement including shipping at our expense. ??Clients will sometimes upload files that look great as little 4x5 inch images on their monitor and be under the impression that photo can be turned into a beautiful 16x20 inch canvas print. Maybe it can, but there are a number of factors, that can make this a sad experience. If the photo was out of focus, there was camera shake, too small a file size etc. that 4x5 image isn’t going to reveal what it looks like when it’s 16x20 inches. It’s very subjective as to what is acceptable, and we have to allow a fairly wide margin of "photo."We are not liable for the following:

Although it’s infrequent, some files have digital errors that aren’t visible until they are printed. These errors are usually due to dust on the sensor. Also, color imbalance due to lighting conditions, low file resolution that renders pixelation, and camera handling issues are, logically, not covered. If an image was submitted with improper cropping, improperly sized or sent with other data that lead to printing errors, P2C2U will not be liable for those errors.

We will offer to replace canvases that are printed in error, or have a significant defect that was overlooked during the final quality inspection. If you feel there is a problem, please notify us within seven days of delivery, and we’ll try to come up with a solution for you. If it’s immediately obvious to us that we made a mistake, we will quickly replace the defective part of your order. Otherwise, you will need to return your order within ten days of arrival. Return shipping is at your expense. Depending on assessment of the claim, we may or may not reimburse return shipping. Of course, once it leaves our premises, we have no cotrol over the prints environment and handling. Therefore, it’s your responsibility to check your package and contents immediately upon arrival so FedEx can be alerted to a claim. You must hold the packing and canvases for them to assess the cause of the damage. We won’t warranty canvases beyond 10 days after delivery.

Shipping and packing charges aren’t reimbursed unless we’ve made a shipping error, in which case we’ll send a call tag at our expense for a return. At our discretion, you may be asked to supply a digital photo of the problem. Actual shipping costs incurred when fulfilling the order, may be deducted from the issued credit.

If you choose an expedited shipment and there’s a problem with the order, we will only ship via ground to rectify the order unless you decide to pay for express. If you return an order you have had express shipped, but decide to return it due to product failure, we will reimburse you for what you would have paid for the product plus the gound rate, but not your express charges. As unlikely as it seems, if there’s a complete product failure, we will, at our discretion, have the product shipped back to SBW at our expense.

It’s common sense, that we can’t accept returns on any prints that have been damaged due to improper handling.
